Step-by-step ClassKite teaching workflow for teachers

This is the practical, start-to-finish workflow for teaching with ClassKite. Each step takes only a few minutes, and together they replace a lot of manual preparation and checking.

1. Sign up and create your class

Create a teacher account and set up your first class. Your class gets a join code you share with students so they can enrol from their own devices.

2. Upload your teaching material

Add the materials you already teach from — for example a PDF of worked examples. ClassKite keeps them organised by class so you can reuse them next term instead of rebuilding.

3. Teach using the PDF and smart-board tools

Present your material to the class and annotate it live — highlight a step, mark up a diagram, work through a problem in front of students. This is where explanation happens.

4. Generate practice

Instead of hand-writing a worksheet, generate practice questions with AI assistance based on your topic. Review them, keep the good ones, and tweak anything you want to change. You stay in control of what students see.

5. Send practice to students

Share the practice with the class. Students answer on their devices — no printing, no collecting paper.

6. Monitor answers

As students work, you can see responses coming in. That lets you spot a common mistake immediately and address it with the whole class while it still matters.

7. Review student progress

After the lesson, look at who completed the work and where they struggled. ClassKite organises this so you are not flipping through stacks of paper.

8. Use reports to improve your teaching

Use the progress data to decide what to re-teach, who needs extra support, and what to set next. Teaching becomes a loop you can actually steer.
